SpaceWorks adds Mr. Sam Bornstein to its Staff as Senior Aerospace Engineer

Atlanta, GA: January 16, 2017

SpaceWorks is pleased to welcome Mr. Sam Bornstein to its team in Atlanta, GA. Mr. Bornstein will be a Senior Aerospace Engineer and a part of SpaceWorks’ advanced concepts team, with emphasis on high speed propulsion, flight mechanics, trajectory optimization, and reusable flight vehicle design.

Prior to joining SEI, Mr. Bornstein worked at Williams International in Walled Lake, MI. While at Williams, Mr. Bornstein developed expertise in the areas of gas turbine combustion, computational fluid dynamics, supersonic and hypersonic air-breathing propulsion systems, and hypersonic aerodynamics.

We operate in a very fast-moving multidisciplinary design environment, and Sam’s work experience and academic background are a perfect fit for our needs. ”

Mr. Bornstein received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Evansville where he was a member of the varsity Men’s Soccer team and was awarded Academic All-Conference. In addition, Mr. Bornstein earned his M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology where he worked as a graduate researcher in the Aerospace Systems Design Laboratory (ASDL).
